I have a long and a short repro K98k cleaning rod. Both are too fat to fit into a bayonet.

In Pa there is a a retired machinest that walks around the gunshows there call " THE ROD MAN" that makes the finest cleaning rods for mauser, arisaka, carcanos and others. He shows off his latest work and ask how to improve what he makes. Charges around $15 to $20 a rod and he does some fantastic work. But funny, after he walks around most dealers then have rods in all there military rifles. I am looking for his card now, pm me in a few days to see if i find it.
