The mysterious Michael John Littman is the orphaned son of billionaire industrialist parents who he saw murdered before his eyes at a young age.

Upon becoming old enough to take controlling interest in the family high technology aerospace and electronics industries, MJL developed a series of secret crime-fighting tools. Specialized automobiles and aircraft. Hardened, transistorized body armor and next generation man-portable electromagnetic rail guns.

Ostensibly leaving the day to day runnings of the company to his lifelong butler, MJL works as a school teacher by day...and the world's most deadly vigilante by night!

Actually, he's really a teacher down in Florida. Might be too busy to post very often these days.

I THOUGHT that might be the truth!! Makes more sense than anything I could have come up with!!
I managed through surreptitious means to acquire the only known photograph of the enigmatic Michael John Littman.

Although this photograph is from 25 years ago, sources tell me that MJL still dresses this way wherever he goes in public. Furthermore, through the use of advanced Botox technology and animal hormone treatments, it is said that his appearance today is exactly as it appears in this picture.

Save it for the political forum, Ben. The internet traces it's ancestry to Department of Defense network computers that were in use at about the time Al Gore's assigned bodyguard was escorting him around Vietnam for the few months he was there.

Nah, Ben Gunn has been on the forums for quite some time. He used to hang out on the grumpy old men forum and spar with...well, everybody. Right at about the time Bush won in 2000, he stopped going there.

I suppose we can give Gore his props for supporting legislation that ushered in aspects of our telecommunications industry. We'd also have to give Reagan and the first Bush similar props too for also ushering in the Information Age. Even people who write about Gore's work as a Senator in this mention his close bi-partisan work with officials in both of those administrations who also saw the writing on the wall.

Indeed, Reagan's economic policies are routinely criticised by because they didn't bring back the old post-war manufacturing economy blue collar union types wanted. "General Motors' America". But Reagan, and perhaps Gore too, knew that those days weren't coming back.

So...guys. I just bought this kickass tactical laser/light combo for my Glock 22 called a Streamlight TLR-2.

Anybody else try one of these?

And here I thought it was because we Republicans had become insufferably smug!
