A few years ago some one posted the site that had US serial numbers from US arms so you could see where your weapon had spent most of it's time. Any one still have it available?

Springfield Research Service, and it's still free to look up, just costs to get a certified lettermabob like Cody Firearms Museum does for Winchesters. Lately their database's only been working off an on, though.

The site was sold/transfered......And I believe the above is true--you have to pay a membership to activate your ability to check for even the basic info...
