are all of the K31 chargers ?

Sportsmans Guide sells them 3 for $19.99 I think. Sarco sells them for 5.95 each. As you said Liberty Tree has them but I think they are $8.

Some time back I could get them at 12 for $20

or 10 free with 480 rounds purchase .

The last Swiss chargers I bought were at one of the Tulsa shows last year. A seller has a cardboard box full of several hundred at $1 dollar a pop. I bought 20.

Now that you mention it, I've had one rattling around in the console of my truck - took it out today & put it in with the handful of others that one of our sponsors was giving away, at one time, with every ammo purchase.

Never could see the rationale behind taking ammo out of perfectly good sealed GP-11 boxes to load them into the paper strippers, then load the rifle - it's just one extra step & after carrying the loaded strippers around all day, it's just more work to remove that pesky pocket lint from the wax neck sealant ...

Not strictly true. You can also use them on 1889's, 96's, 96/11's/ and 11's, or to start a fire (kindling).

Somebody has an avatar on this board showing their potential use in loading a Krag, too. (I'm going to have to try that sometime!)

Supply and demand.... supply was finite.

About a year ago I picked up 9 chargers in a pawn shop - they were pre-loaded with GP-11 and priced at $4 each. Not too bad... they must have been sitting there for 5 years or so.
