Yugo Ammo

It is the excellent Yugo ammo from the eighties. Rare to see in the laquer case, but I had no problem with it, and it shot as well as the brass cased stuff.

This ammo caused a lot of sticky bolt problems in the Mausers I tried it in.

From the few cases we shot it performed somewhat strange.

When it shoots good, it is some of the most accurate 8mm Milsurp ever, on par with German and brass newer Yugo.

However, in any five shot group it would always have at least one flyer of four in. or more.

Tested in a lot of rifles, with the same results. So it is the ammo.

I have several cases of it left and wil keep them on the back burner. Just in case no other 8mm comes in.

Not our front line choice for 8mm.

80's yugo. I shot a grand total of 1 80's yugo round, which promptly got terribly jammed in my gun and required many different tools to the the bolt open and round extracted. Not feeding steel to my mauser again. I will say this however: that shot did hit the center ring.
