my brother in law just got a m44 that somebodys mad ol' lady threw out the window of a moving car!!! anyway the front sight got knocked out and the muzzle messed up. im taking the rifle to my smith today for a recrown any ideas who/where i can get the "wide" m44 front hooded sight? i found one on gunbroker for 15.00 would be nice to find a one stop shop for a sling kit,440rd spam can of ammo, and this sight too. looks like im probably going to have to go to several vendors. thanks!!

and P.S. having this other m44 in the house is making me want another carbine BADDD!!! i hate to give it back to him! lol

its been hard to find the wide front sight but tennesee gun parts had one and 14.00 dollars later it should be in the mail this week. super nice guy and look forward to dealing with him again. rick reich also replied after the TNP purchase. he as well seems to be good to deal with. thanks!
