Good info. If I ever get into scuba diving. This appears to go somewhat beyond the discussion for pumping water from the surface using a hand pump. But thanks much for the info.

Not at all, it works perfectly for both.
The surface hand-pumped one is conciderably smaller though, but it will deliver a considerable volume of water easily from a substantial depth.

I have a family member with which it became a good idea to avoid Gluten when they got into their 50's.
Certainly adds a new dimension to "prepping".
It's doable but takes more time looking and finding solutions than it did before.
Something to keep in mind , even if it does not apply now , it could later.
