1946 Tula 91/30 hex reciever, 41 and double SA stamped. Finn capture papers state that a rogue Russian soldier refused to give up the fight, and hid out in the borderlands for two years until captured by the finns and given a shower and shave.
The rifle was imported and sold to Dennis Kroh, who oddly enough, didn't recognize how unique it was and sold it to me as "just some russian crap". I got it for $45 dollars - its real nice.
Okay, I have to admit, I made that up. All I've got is a 1939 Tula and Izhevsk. I just wanted to be a big man!
