Well, it was way to hot for me to do any swamp prowling today. So me and my son decided to go out to the annual turkey shoot and try our luck. Well we came home with two turkeys and three sticks of sausage. And all for under ten bucks including a couple of cold beverages.
Anyway I got around to cooking up a couple of those Teal for supper. Sprinkled them with cinnamon and placed them on a bed of home made stuffing. Cooked covered at 350 till the skin was nice and crispy, and the meat tender and yet still juicy. Served with Acorn squash, wild rice, whole cranberry sauce, fresh steamed broccoli, and a splash of nice red wine.
