I think your mileage will vary greatly with this question.

Its all in the eye of the beholder. If I thought the price was right, I would not hesitate. I realize the odds of ever getting it back together are astronomical, to put it mildly, but hey, it was once a '27rv. That's just me. There are people out there who would think one crazy for even wasting a couple hundred on one.

Does it have an RV bolt also?

I picked up a complete RV action on a terribly bubba'd stock and also found an intact RV stock with Disc. Still no HG for it or rear band.... If anyone knows of one of these parts, let me know - I'll trade you something great!

Cost will exceed an intact RV in the end but it is kind of fun - like finding Blackbeard's treasure....

I realize it may be a desirable piece to others, but it has no value to me. None except perhaps its trade value or the potential, unrealized profit that could be made if purchased on speculation.

Personally I'd still pick it up if the price was low - if for no other reason than keep as a curio or conversation piece or what not. The lack of the proper/original bolt greatly reduces the interest though
