Around the 350 mark is going price for a nice Lithgow (VG)..... go up from there.... If it isn't an FTR then serious collectability issues come in for some people.... maybe as high as 450 to 500 isn't that unreasonable. Trouble is, there is getting to be such a shortage of really good ones available that asking prices from some dealers are getting rediculous. Saw one advertised for 900 a while back.....

unissued, unfired ,mint, all matching lithgow of 42 vintage
Pardon my scepticism Ned, but how did this miracle occur ?
Price is going to depend on how bad you want it.
Personally I wouldn't want it any badder than the $450-500 Son mentioned. But if I had the spare cash there are other things I want badder.
However once you do buy it (and you will;)) I don't see the value dropping any time soon.

HI Ned how much is the fellow asking for the rifle, and that old saying they are not making them any more. An you will be kicking yourself for not grabbing it as you probaly never see one again.
Ones in top condition are pretty thin out there, this is my best one a Lithgow 1945 without a bolt.
