I picked up a Erma DSM and I was wondering what ammo it was made to shoot? Long, short, what?

Standard Velocity most closely replicates the speed of the period ammo the sights are calibrated for. You will want to use a 6 o'clock hold sight picture. I have shot a lot of them as as long as you properly clean it it will not depreciate the gun. Were it the seldom encountered DEAD MINT example might be another story. Those are nearly un-heard of though. Nice piece. ENJOY!! Good Collecting!!!!!!!!!
