I understand AK's Mike....AKM brakes shoots muzzle blast up and to the right to try and keep the barrel on target during full auto firing as it tends to walk/climb up and to the right.

But this semi auto rifle needs that for controlability?

I'll ask around and see if I can find out more about this.

What is this Russian sniper?

I have an AI .50 cal. and it also has that type of brake on it. Puts a heck of a side blast out, but nothing straight down, of course...:)

Great video as well; looks like they're firing some sort of Raufus round. Wish I knew what they were saying....

It shouldn't ...Mine dont and I have quite a few and handled even more....there should be play in the brake but the detent pin is always 12 O'clock except on AKSU's and detent is offset but the brake is still straight as in the wire cutter grooves are aligned 3 O'clock and 9 O'clock.

i wonder what type and power scope is used on this weapon....it seems rather small for any work at real long distance..but then when your targets an aircraft or something that large....
