Do you really expect the writers of children's schoolbooks to know what they are writing about?

Methinks the OP is pointing out the fact that our children/grandchildren are being taught blatant falsehoods re: our 2nd Amendment Rights...

IMHO, This is somewhat more sinister than simply not knowing "what they are writing about"...
