Any ideas how many were produced/ordered ? What is a ballpark value? Mauser 99 is correct on the markings, so I will suppose that this is a dsm-34

I have come into possession of this rifle (and intend to sell it eventually) and need to know what it is. Moderators, if you feel I have posted in the wrong forum, please move. What can you tell me, I have seen a similar rifle identified as a dsm34, is this a training rifle? What is the value, after I clean the dust off of it, and history?
