Good Morning All.

I recently acquired another Mk VI.

It has all the usual date, proof and inspection markings as well as the Broad Arrow in the usual places.

However, It also has the following marking:

1
258

I can not find any unit marking however to indicate what unit's rack number it might be.

Further information if it helps.

Year - 1918
Serial 354xxx

Located in Queensland Australia

It is mechanically excellent, however, there is some surface corrosion.
Thank you

Thank you.

I expected to see a D^D for an Australian issue firearm, but there are none. Any insights on that?

If you don't mind; how do you know the districts? I am flicking through Skennerton's book now and don't see it mentioned.
I have seen on another thread a list of districs, however, I think those entries had xMD. I'll have to dig up that thread.
