Back in 2012 these were about $500 not sure what they go for now. I bought mine with a folder like yours. Found a surplus beaver barf stock set and swapped it out, much better look imo
The vz2008 has shot up in price you may not have overpaid too much. They were one of those things that were plentiful 10 years ago and like everything else have dried up
