Picked up yesterday. VKT dated 1942 with an immaculate barrel. Wood is nice too...nice and dark with the Fin 2 cannon stamp and cleaning rod. Don't know the date of the receiver. Beautiful rifle. Sitting in the dentists office today, for the 2nd time this week. ...All I could think about is getting home and taking it apart

Get out of that dentist office and get some photos up! M-91s are my personal favorites and I can't get enough of looking at them. Must be a nice rifle for you to post about it while in a dentist's chair!

Congratulations!

The same exact barrel markings are listed on 7.62x54.Net as "M39" and this one is on a M91. Any meaning to that or was it just a case of put-this-on-that

I gotta get better pics.

I wonder how many rifles were done in a day? We're these 3 done basically together or weeks apart?!
