For those of us who know that there are other Italian rifles besides a Carcano, here is just what the VV owner needs to keep up a rapid fire at those charging hostiles.

Thank you for the excellent extension of the VV Charger clip design.

What type of sheet steel did you use (annealed, or "soft spring", or plain sheet , as in tinplate??)
I suppose brass would do just as well, especially for the locking tabs for the bottom of the two guides, to allow the cartridges to exit the charger easily when pulling on the string to remove the charger.

Will try to copy some up, and try them on my M70/87TS and the Eritrean M70/87 Cav Car.
Thanks again., Regards,
Doc AV

Not sure what type of metal. This is an original that I just got and used to make the templates. It does not have any spring to it so may be simply sheet metal. I would think that for continued re-use, a springy metal would be better. That is what I am going to try to find to make some extras.

No. I got caught up in buying guns and not making accessories. Then work got in the way of even shooting them. Now that things have settled down, wife wants me to work on the house. I just can't win. part of working on the house is cleaning out my shop, so maybe I can get some made.
