Pcyclist,
I don't believe Venezuela was ever in NATO and that ammo is not NATO spec. I have shot alot of it when it was common and it is loaded hot compared to NATO spec so be aware. I was shooting it out of a 1912 steyr chilean mauser with no problems but some other bolt guns were getting the bolt jammed from too much pressure. worked fine in my semi-autos though.

If the rounds have a heavy neck crimp, or the box says something akin to "REENGESTRADA", do not use it.

I've shot some of it, and it is hot. I would stay away from it, particularly in 2A1's and converted M93's.

M93s and other small ring Mausers I agree, but there are no problems with the Ishapore 2As and 2A1s...internet hogwash.

I've shot it in the past with no problems. It fed well in my L1A1.

I had several hundred rnds. once. The necks were too long and I had to pull every bullet, dump the powder and trim every case to correct length. I also had to reduce the powder charge by 15% to get it to function well in my 7.62 Garand.
