I found this collection a few years ago. It has bunch of great photos. As listed on the fronts of the images, USMC Saipan June 1944. I restored these from a heavy yellowing, lots of cracks, folds, and spotting. I didn't go full overboard on the restores, most are in good enough shape. I will post these in order they are numbered. I have enlarged some sections for more detailed views.

I will post each photo and their enlarged sections as new post to make replies about a particular photo easier. 18 different photos in all.

thanks mark, i really enjoy doing this for a hobby. It takes a while with as many photos as i have and i always learn new stuff for photoshop restoration, so they continually get better. I spend lots of time using a loupe for magnification on my photos. that is where i got the idea to show the blown up views.

here is a typical condition of the look of the images before i began.
