I recently purchased, at a very good price, a Mosin Nagant 91/30. Date on the reciever is 1941, serial numbers match on the reciever, mag.floorplate and bolt.
The problem I am having is that there are no other marks on the reciever! I have no idea who made it! The rifle is in as issued condition, tight chamber, bright bore, exellent crown. The bluing is perfect and the stock has a few handeling marks. I just don't know where it was made!

Any suggestions? Pics will be posted as soon as possable

Dissassemble the rifle and look under the tang at the rear of the reciever. There should be a 2 digit number and either a star or the Izhevsk triangle/arrow. If it is a 1941 Tula, that is a great find!
