Just purchased this book by Spencer Coil and was very pleased with the layout and pictures included. I was not aware that the AH Army was equipped with Kar.88's-I knew about the Gew's, but not the Kar's. The only disappointment was in finding Steyr 1886's and Mosin-Nagant 1891's all labeled as Steyr M95's. Tons of photos of ersatz bayonets!

Is there someplace on the web where we can see the book and order it?

Does the book have real photos or is it all drawings? Any Steyr M95 stutzen's with long rear sights?

No stutzen with long rifle sights (and believe me, I checked). Lots of Stutzen, long rifles, Mosin-Nagant M91's, Steyr 1890's, Steyr 1886's, Gew. 91's, a couple Werndl's, and an M95 in EARLY Cavalry configuration without bayonet lug or bottom swivels (carried by infantry I believe).

Ah, sorry about that...I know they have it on Amazon.com or Barnes & Noble. It is a bit pricy, but the pictures provide a wealth of information.

The Scholar's Bookshelf (www.scholarsbookshelf.com) has it in their spring listing----$69.95, though.
