Was going over a RC byf 43 I picked up, and came across this marking. My meager references doesn't have anything like it. Any ideas?

Is that a lower case "m"? Looks like a subcontractor code..."m" would be Limbacher Maschinenfabrik, Bach und Winter

I have the same mark on a 42 bcd....Gustloff used all subcontracted parts, so there usually a lot of various subcontractor marks on them....

The upper mark looks like a very dirty or weakly struck e/221, and the sub-con is 'm' as stated by pzjgr. Gustloff part, probably early too, say 337 1939 or '40 up to bcd 41 to maybe earlier '42.
