I have a UF series, RAF contract serial # range No4.Mk2 ROF F rifle and bayonet.

My bayonet does not have serial number of the rifle on it nor does the scabbard.

Is this normal ?

My buddy just bought a PF series and its bayonet / scabbard are serial numbered to the rifle.

Now I am wondering about my rifle and its non serial numbered bayonet/scabbard

That would be on my list of least of worries. It seems many of these rifles were separated from their bayonets. Lets see some pictures of the beauty! Regards, Rick.

Sounds normal to me my '55 Faz from the same contract was not number matched on either.

I have both a UF and PF in the wrap and the UF bayonet and scabbard have no numbers on them ---- the PF bayonet and scabbard are number matched to the rifle.
