I put a repo eye piece on mine. I shoot it with the scope.I have found that it is very accurate with the scope.
I have some black specs,but nothing like sniper scopes.
If you want to go all out you can sight these scopes in. They are the most difficult.
I wouldn't be afraid of shooting a 99lmg with a scope on it.

I used one of the repo 99 or 97 eye pieces. Don't remember what one I used.
I will look and see what one I used.
