In the meantime, don't try and "de-cock" an Arisaka like you would a Mauser (you already knew that). And yes I know one of the resident experts can do it, but I can't. :>) (I don't know how to fix elevators either)

If it can be decocked (some can't), you don't decock it like a Mauser you decock it like an Arisaka
