Type 3 or Type 4 on a 1913 LSA

I have a acquired a type 3 magazine and am wondering if that is correct for a 1913 LSA. Stratton says it is for early SMLE's but I am not sure where the date cut off would be. By correct I am thinking if it was what would have been issued with it.
