I won these two auctions today.

I think I got them for decent prices and both of them look decent (though the M38 has the "wrong" bolt). I'm collecting WW2 rifles, and only just started to get around to Italian rifles. These two will make three. When I get them, I'll post better and more detailed pictures.

I have done some research on Carcanos, but I'm by no means an expert, so any input would be greatly appreciated.

Look the 7,35 over closely for signs of hard use. A few of these went from Germany to Bulgaria as part of an Axis aid package. Also look on the bottom of the stock for a German armorer's mark. Probably not there, but still look.

Both are honest examples and historical artifacts. Good grab! SW

Here's the pictures of them. The 7.35 carbine is actually in fairly decent shape. It just needed all that old, dried grease cleaned off of it. I couldn't find any German markings on it though. Sadly, I accidentally broke the lever on the bayonet lug on the M91. From the looks of it though, it was just about to go anyway. I suppose this is one reason that it was ditched for the push-button.
