I have learned how smoking a turkey neck is the best for seasong greens...I can't image how a red meat like deer would taste smoked.

I always take all the necks and ribs off the deer an elk that people store in my meat locker if they wont use them..Amazing how much the average hunter wastes. BBQ ribs on the smoker and slow cooked neck then turned into meat an gravy over potatoes or stew like that. Lots of folks missing out on a premium meal.

barley and brown rice. >white frozen corn best for stews soups, never yellow.
and corn twice done with meat.
to break down fiber, and bone collagen.

adding ingrediencies in stages preserves each vegs. individualized taste.
crock pot cooking runs / ruins individual tastes

put in frig. leaving room floating hard fats to surface.
added to dogs' meats, scraps of my Protein/collagen rich foods.

DK, when you say, "twice cooked", do you mean you did an initial cycle meat only, then you depressurized and added the veg for the last cycle?

Put in frozen and Yes cooked twice in apple juice water..
..meat twice.. breaks down collagen out of neck bones, and softening…
if you end up with long strings in a few instances.. cut up be for serving.
then proceed vegs.
