I would like to know if anyone can tell me the correct ID on this 1934 head stamped 9MM and the country of manufacture.
It's longer than a standard 9MM Luger cartridge.

With no picture to help out, that is a pretty thin description to go by.

since it is 'longer than a standard 9mm luger cartridge', is it perhaps 9X21?

With a longer than 19mm case and a 1934 date, I would guess a 9x23 Steyr or Bergmann, or perhaps a 9x25 Mauser.
