Picked up a couple of armourers 'Salter' type spring balances today.

The 'big end' hooks around the trigger and gives you your true trigger-pull figures whilst the small end hooks over the cocking piece and does the same for the striker spring.

Do you know what your spring tensions are ?

Do you know what they should be ?
Trigger 1st pull = 3lbs to 4lbs
Trigger 2nd pull 5lbs to 6.5lbs
Main / striker spring Un-cocked 7lbs to 9lbs
Main / striker spring cocked 14lbs to 16lbs

Heck, most of my tension starts behind my eyes. I don't want to know what my Enfields worry about.
