Have you ever seen this mark? I recently bought this stock from a member here and I was wondering if any of you have ever seen this mark before. It has the screwed in sling slots in the rear but has the half liner slot in the front. The sling slot also doesn't look like the regular refurbed slots. Any idea whats going on here?

This is just an example of one of my regular refurb sling slots for comparison.

Also, forgot to say, its non-slotted for the hex receiver rifle. (A hex will fit into the stock snug, a round will fit with gaps around the rear of the receiver)

If I recall, Triangle 12 is a friend of Triangle 25 and has seen on barrel shanks, not sure about stocks. I have a Triangle 25 on a barrel shank but the companion stock has a Star 25 and not a triangle.

my refurb 91/30 has the same marking in the same place on the stock it also bears it on the barrel shank (1943 izhevsk in postwar stock) . there was a good thread on the subject awhile back but i seem to recall that the general consensus was that it is a refurb facility mark and some documentation surfaced to suggest that /25\ was at izhevsk. it is still unknown where /12\ was
