I recently won an auction for a Japanese Training Rifle... it will be my first! It's one of the so-called T-99 long training rifles (one vent hole) with the Nippon Special Steel marking on the receiver. I probably paid too much, but something just drew me to bid on it. I saw what appears to be the name of the school on the side of the stock (in Japanese), and was curious if perhaps anyone could translate it for me (Edokko? ) Also the number "6" is painted on the stock too... is this just the number the school used?
