There have been a couple posts with similar damage; good enough reason not to 'decock'.

Yes we did make Laughlin. Wasn't too exciting, but was good time anyway. Until my brother's motor starting self destructing a couple hundred miles from home.

Bummer, mine is down with a rocker cover leak right now.

Yeah, it's not that bad. I replaced them around 8 years ago after frying the gaskets at the Laughlin run. Now I don't have the garage situation that I did then so I'll probably take it to the dealer.
