I just won this hopping it is legit. The bayonet is trash, but it is the scabbard I was after. What do any of you think. I think the markings aren't made by Kilroy. I can imagine some GI wrapping string on the home made scabberd. This is the link WW2 JAPANESE BAYONET TYPE 30 & SCABBARD W/ INSCRIPTION (190643663804).

The scabbard looks legit, one of the many unrecorded variations. The finish on the scabbard looks to have been tampered with, but it's still a cool scabbard. The Kanji on the other hand looks bad......Jon

Interesting scabbard. The string wraps look legit. It looks like it's a variation between the usual wood scabbards and the bamboo scabbard.
When you get it let us know if it's wood or bamboo

I've been trying to figure out what a T 3 scabbard was or is; now I see it is an error!
