We know that pistols with mums are not legit; but can anyone make out what the paper says?

You know there is so much wrong with this type-14 that it might be worth it just to write an article for Banzai. Notice the cocking knob (not numbered as per seller) and slab left grip while the right grip is correct serrated type. I had my neighbor translate the sticker and what she came up.

The sticker reads as follows:
First part reads:
Article 16
Rivet/tack retest/recheck is followed/applied by article 14.
Next is:
Chapter 6 (title) Common differences/allowance or allowed difference of size and weight.
Common difference of steel/metal material is followed differently of the allowed common differences standard size/dimensions 1 cubic centimeter metal/material weight calculated to metal weight 7.86 gram.

Only because I asked the seller to provide some extra close-ups of the sticker, which I might add he did with no problems and he also responded very quickly to all my questions concerning this little jewel.

On the upside, the mum is in a place that can be buffed out to a rough surface(late war finish)and touch blued without a lot of problems. So yea,to the guy that asked if he should regrind the mum,in this case,go for it. The metallurgy specs note could be off a lot of things.Sounds like aircraft skin related info... the seller may be that "mum-humper" Doss has observed before, left the show circuit for the net?

I expect the seller was innocent ,he was pretty quick to give pictures and info, the crooked ones always try not to answer questions or plain ignore you if you ask very many. The honest guy go out of their way to co-operate as they want the buyer to know what he's getting and have a positive sale all the way around.

The reason that folks put things on guns that were never there is because "we all" don't know that the added marks are incorrect.
Its still crazy to do this. There is a sucker born every minute.
