Greetings. I just recently picked up a matching Syrian/ Yugo M48 Mauser and I have a little problem.
I bought the rifle with a missing sight hood and looking screws. I've already replaced the front sight hood, but for some reason, german locking screws don't seem to be the same thread pitch.
I have a couple of locking screws, but when I try to screw them in, they feel really tight, so I stop. I don't want to bugger up the screws or the threads on the trigger guard.
Do the Yugo rifles use a different thread size on the locking screws?
Thanks, ARG
