Russia is tied down in Ukraine for the forseeable future.
Even then, the Russians need to go through Finland or Norway (NATO) to get to the Swedes. Their location is what saved them from the destruction of WW2.
The one place they need to worry about is Gotland Island, strategically placed in the middle of the Baltic. Definitely on the short list of places for Russia to invade.
Historically, there have been many armed conflicts between Sweden and Russia.
In recent times, many Russian clandestine underwater incursions into Swedish territorial have been recorded, The Russian invasion of Ukraine set off serious Swedish and Finnish raw nerves, resulting in both applying for the protection of an official and mutual NATO membership.
Sweden has also been a clandestine member of NATO for decades,
The then Swedish Prime Minister Thjorbjorn Falldin ordered Swedish Airforce, Navy, and Army to "Hold Graensen" (Hold the Border) against approaching Soviet Navy ship coming to aid the stricken "Whisky on the Rock" Soviet submarine and forcing them all to turn around and avoided starting a war by not entering Swedish waters.
The "Whisky on the Rock" Soviet submarine was, after Swedish Gieger Counters measured the presence of Uranium 238 at the bow torpedo tubes, making the Swedes also believe that U 363 was armed with a nuclear torpedo and the Swedes claim that it was the only time ever a nuclear bomb was inside Swedish territory.
