I just came across a sporterized Swede. I believe this started life as a 94 Carbine, but my knowledge of Swedes is near nil. It's an 1895 Oberndorf Mauser marked receiver, wit the letters HK on the side. It has the military stepped barrel, it's caliber 6.5 and there's a crown on the floorplate. That's about all that is military, as it is in a nicely shaped and figured Mannlicher style stock. Here's some pics:

Can you tell if the bolt is an original or modified handle? What does the HK on the receiver signify?
Any ballpark value? Bore is perfect, blue is decent.

I'll defer comments to the experts, but that sure is a "Purdy" stock they put on it!...:)

Please refer to the forum rules about sporter topics. This is a collector forum and we have no interest in sporters nor desire to see sporter photos.

The bolt looks original.
HK is the military inspector's initials.
We don't do apprasials on sporters.
