It's 100% Chinese-made 6.5 Japanese ammo. Value is subjective. Individual rounds of that are pretty common, but the strippers are less-so and more valuable. If the case was sealed and shootable, value would again be much higher. Individual rounds bring $1 each, on a good day.

Same. 90's imports, corrosive, was sure fire, no idea of primer diameter, but it is berdan. A dollar a round was the gunshow price. Green neck seal was just Chinese ball, lead core, not japanese tracer designation. No drama if I recall, bang-extract in one piece-hole in target-rifle still has everything attached type ammo. By the looks of pics, ammo stored well, age is only worry.

Yes, 6.5x50sr Japanese, made in China in 1950 dated.
Corrosive, berdan ball ammo.
Was imported in the late 1980's along with a lot of Japanese T38 rifles from China.
Remember looking through pallots of those rifles looking for rarer ones at Birmingham Pistol Parlor back in the late 1980's.
The ammo looks good, the strippers are worth $5 each today, the cartridges will bring around buck each.
It is shooting ammo, not collecting ammo.
