I created this little set of web pages several years ago to share some issues I'd seen over the years with the straight-pull bolt mechanism. I later added a remedy I worked out for the horrendously heavy trigger pull of the M95-type weapons. The site doesn't get much traffic and, quite frankly, I really don't need to host a domain just to maintain these few web pages. I'm thinking about shutting down the site. Is there somewhere on this forum where this information could be archived?

A piece of copper pipe cut in a semi-circle to length, formed to the radius of the bolt shank, does the job of safeguarding fingers etc.
Works well with the problem of dropping wedges in the earlier Mannlichers.

With M.95 this was done with a small coin. A dime will do, and in Bulgaria a 10 stotinki coin was used.
