Anybody have a GREAT stock guy for military rifles? Recent acquisition needs some work done to restore area for buttplate, re-fix a crack and sharpen up some oversanded edges. Contact info and price range appreciated! Thanks!

I have a guy that does serious resto work but he is NOT CHEAP and will not hurry.
I don't give his info out unless I know my referal will not piss him off AT ME for sending a tire kicker his way though...
So if you have few hundred bucks and can wait more than a month send me a PM.
Be warned in advance if your rifle is junk, he will not be able to make it look un-issued, so some realistic expectations are in order.

Thanks... looking to drop no more than about $200 if I can help it; may be unrealistic. There is a now defunct website called Gewehr43.com that endorsed a guy named Tom Edwards who charged between $40 and $100 , but his email has changed. I understand the stock won't look new. I just want it as correct as possible for display. Your description sounds like any true artisan... heard the same description for a guy in the Glouchester, VA area; he aint "fast and he aint cheap". Don't care about fast, but a repaired piece of wood is only worth so much to be before I just look at doing some swapping for a correct upgrade example.
