Can stickys from the old old boards be directly transfered to this board with their photos by the users, or can they be done by moderators?? Or can photos be transfered at all?? The sticky I'm referring to is the sticky about M-1 carbine pouches on MJL's U.S. weapons board. I tried to switch it over but only the text came.

The transfer of photos is a chore I am also trying to tackle. So far, I have found out how to attach linked thumbnail images at the end of a posting (that means, they would not show up within the text of an imported thread, because an imported thread technically will be depicted as a single article), or original size images within the text (by using the IMG code e.g., or HTML, if you have enabled it), but have not found a way to pepper smaller images within the text itself.

Jimmy,
You'll have to save the text and thenpost it then save the images on your PC and re-upload them here. It won't go all in one shot unfortunately and that is why we need the membership to tackle one or two and bring them over sdo they are not lost. OK? If you need help just ask. I'll sticky topic those or your mod will if you make us aware of it.

Hey VIc:

The 48 hours are not yet over. Why is the Third Board offline? Did you already switch it off before we could transfer its partial contents, or is it only a temporary access glitch?

I have a sticky that's real long. No pictures. Is there a way to make it into one post? I had to chop it into 4 messages to make the 10,000 character limit.

Not sure why it went down but it is being looked into.

Sorry but the info in emails was not a part of Gunboards.com if you mean private messages - Sorry those are gone.

I'm working on the down site-it might be gone for good as it was severely unstable. All of the info can be still found at the original site-

Forgive my ignorance. I guess I just don't understand. Is all the information that was/is gunboards going to be lost in this transition. For instance pos and neg feedback over the years. Am I missing somthing?
