I want to bring up this thread again.

From my point of view it is one of the importantst collector´s books for collector´s of East Germans-secret service stuff It is written in English language. The author spends a lot of time and work for detailled descriptions and detailled photos. He gots deep and long studies of the history of the Stasi and their orders and other decorations.

True, a bit pricey but well worth it because of the English text and large number of never before seen color photos. If you are collecting East German for the long haul you will kick yourself a few years down the road when it's out-of-print and cost twice as much. Kevin
