I recently acquired a STAR 1921 pistol that is missing the thumb safety and a magazine.
Does anyone know where to pick up these items or if the safety from another Star pistol will work on mine?

As near as I can tell it is a 1921 Guardia Civil property marked 9mm pistol with thumb and grip safety.
Well, mine is currently missing the thumb safety.

If it has a grip safety, it is a Model 1921. That is the only model Star that had a grip safety.

I used to have a few extra magazines, but not anymore. The best bet is STAR from the forums here, then the usual list of possible sources:
