It looks to me like you got a normal German bayonet which someone ruined by trying to make it into a fake SS bayonet.

And those are not "German blood eagles" on the pommel but rather German WaffenAmt markings.

I seen other bayonets that are marked SS and none look like this. I know during the 60's or 70's a bunch of k98k bayonets were "SS marked", but none look as this does.

german S84/98 bayonet, question is the carving on flashguard same as the emblem which should be added later, the serial number speaks for normal Wehrmacht bayonet, should be maker marked , matching 4841? and with proper frog which is not visible here. The piece has already missing origin blueing, and it looks that the inscription was done on cleaned surface.

When 1938 there should be full name of maker on opposite side as is serial number.
Probably s/n 4841p. As Andy said, look on the opposite side of the ricasso for the maker's name.
