but the price seemed high. Am I out of touch with reality (the market)???
I've pulled a lot of good militaria out of this local fall antique show blowout. Several really nice and complete Japanese rifles over the years, helmets and accoutrements. Even a WW1 mfg Colt 45 pistol this past May!
On a table was a really nice 32nd series rifle. The serial number was in the 58-thousand range, wood and metal extremely nice and original, had the short rod and AA sights, matching, rear band without monopod provision, mum completely buzzed off, with run-of-the-mill but nice condition bayonet and scabbard. Probably could have picked it up for $300 but that seemed high to me for a rifle with a buzzed mum.
What do you think?
