looks a lot like my m38 SR when I got it. I've since replaced the stock and handguard to make it original. The SA-marked rifles with the taller front sight shoot pretty much dead-nuts at 100 yards or so, which is great. My 128 grain handloads worked great first time out so I haven't changed them, although I do have some 150's I haven't loaded up yet. These are fantastic little rifles and I really enjoy them. liberty tree has both stocks and handguards in stock, but they're not cheap. 95 bucks for a stock, but if you can't find it elsewhere, not bad really. My chopped type 99 arisaka cost me 150 for a stock and hardware.
