The external pitting on the receiver and barrel are not enough to worry me from shooting one like it. I've got an 1894 Brazilian that's worse, and I intend to shoot it. Your rough chamber worries me more than the pitting on the outside of the receiver, but probably isn't "dangerous", however you would likely find it somewhat difficult to extract a fired case. I would be more concerned with excess headspace. Does it pass a FIELD gage? I'll bet that it does not. I still wouldn't turn it into a lamp. I'd part it out and sell the pieces. If you do, let me know, I might be interested in the stock...
